Bester - bitter end of summer party

(Yes, I'm posting a summer post in the middle of winter. Have to catch up somehow)

On about the last warm day of the year, Bester's rented this gigantic slide on church property in Magrath. It was so fun! The hill was huge, but I don't think the kids stopped for breath once as they went shooting down it.

Tanner was in heaven because Kason was there. Any thing is better with your best friend.

Hattie played with everyone and had the biggest smile every time she went down. It was so cute to see. And yes, I went down a tonne too with the kids. So fun!

Peter had a love/hate relationship with the slide. He was always excited to go down, but it all depended on the speed and the amount of water that hit his face. And ONLY with mom or dad :)

Ha ha, grandpa and grandma wanted a big train of kids to go down with them. I love Susan's face in this picture. It took a lot of work to get them going, but they got a lot of speed by the end.

Hattie loved going down with grandpa. She hauled him up the hill quite a few times.

Everyone rode it down a couple times, and some of the older guys even did some crazy moves on it (some even shooting off the end), but it was only the little kids that went until the sun was gone. We were all eating supper when I noticed Tanner and Kason were gone with their food untouched. I stepped around the corner and could see their little silhouettes at the top of the hill. They went until their lips were blue and they were shaking cold so bad they could hardly stand, and they still had to be forced to stop.

We were lucky enough to have everyone there, so naturally there had to be a picture with grandpa and grandma and all their grandkids. Fun memories!
