Saskatoon fireworks

Just before fall got in full swing, we headed to Saskatoon to visit family and watch their fireworks show. First night we sat with all the people and rocked out to the music while 'ewwing' and 'awing' all the fireworks.

Night number two it was voted that we go to the other side where there were no people and no music (typical Wendorffs) to watch. So, we had our own little dance party while we waited. Hattie was busting some serious moves, so we let her teach us some of them. She was just thrilled.
Then the fireworks started, and we weren't disappointed. What a fun trip!
On the drive home we hit a Major bug storm. The picture doesn't do justice. And, being in the middle of nowhere with no gas stations around, we had to continue our suicide drive into the setting sun. Seriously, we couldn't see anything. After the bugs were gone, I had to stick my head out the window to help with the driving cause Larry couldn't see the rode. We finally got to a gas station forever later and used their almost gone, filthy wash and sponge to clean things up.

  1. Fireworks, Awesome! Bugs, Gross! Somethings I just seem to forget about Canada. I would have loved to party with your family on the other side with no people. You guys always know how to have a good time.
