Tanner's First day of Kindergarten

My little boy started kindergarten this year. So bitter sweet. He was so excited, but I was going to miss him so bad. I rely on him for so many things at home, the first and most important being a best friend to Hattie. I didn't put him in preschool because I didn't want him leaving us so soon, even if just for a few hours, so kindergarten was going to be his first schooling experience.

We enrolled him in afternoons since neither he or I are morning people. There will be countless years of getting up early in our future. Since starting, he hasn't looked back. He loves school so much. He loves the social aspect, learning, his independence, and his teachers. And, believe it or not, we have learned how to get along without him for the 3 1/2 hours each day. However, from the moment he wakes up in the morning until school starts and immediately after school, costumes get put on and imagination play is in full force at our house. I love it!
