Good Ol' Halloween!

I love Halloween. This year, however, I did it minimally because I had bad 'morning sickness'. However, we did do the essential traditions!
Like Pumpkin carving - a personal favourite of Tanners. Ha ha, just kidding. He hates it and thinks it's the grossest, meanest thing we could do making him help pull the guts out of the pumpkins.

Hattie, however, relishes in it.
This year we got to take part in Tanner's kindergarten Halloween party!
FUN FUN!
The kids all looked so cute and had such a fun time!
The school has a costume parade that the kindergarten class got to start. They thought they were so cool getting to go in all the big kid classes to show off their costume. Tanner would bust a little move when one of the kids would comment on his costume.
And Hattie took part clipping down the hallways in her princess heals.
Back in the class room the kids got to do a bunch of fun centres - cookie decorating, making a bat pin, colouring ...

and getting wrapped up in tp like a mummy.

Then we went Trick-or-Treating! The weather was perfect again this year.
Peter was actually a really good sport this year. He loved his robot costume. Once he caught on to what was happening he wanted to do it all on his own. He wanted to walk up and down the stair, hold his own bag, and knock on the door if he ever made it there in time.
Tanner and Hattie were great sports. We did a tonne of houses, dropped off Peter, did the other side of the street, dropped off Hattie, and did a few more houses.
There were some pretty intense houses this year. Hattie was thrilled to go to them, but Tanner would sit on the other side of the street a few houses down and wait for us.
We got home, emptied our bags, and picked through our loot!
Who couldn't love Halloween!
