Hattie's Ballet

This year I signed Hattie up for Ballet classes. She was so excited from the very beginning. We walked in the store to get her outfit and she was on cloud nine. The store was totally catered to little girls in every way, and it totally sucked us in. Yup, us.

First day, we got dressed and she danced her way into the University and down to her classroom. The moment that outfit goes on, she thinks she is the prima ballerina. We were lucky enough to have Avery in the class with us for the first half. Those two didn't leave each other's side the entire time. Miss Mary would try and get them to slide apart so they could move better, but the moment one girl slid over, the other would slide right on over beside them.

Normally I have to sit outside and wait with Peter during the lessons, but we got special permission to come in and watch her preform all the things she had learned up to this point. It was so cute! All the girls there loved it. They would sing their little songs while doing their moves and just eat up every moment.

An obvious favourite of all the little ballerinas was the balloons they got to run around and play with while Miss Laurie played some classics on the piano. Can't wait to watch again at the end of the year!
