Hattie's Pinkatastic 4th Birthday

Hattie had a Pinkatastic birthday this year. We had decorated the house the night before with all things Pink and Hattie, so when she woke up in the morning it was all a fun surprise!
For breakfast she got Pink pancakes with strawberries and Pink juice made by dad.
Then we went up to Calgary where we met up with our Friends at a fun factory. Hattie and Avery were delighted to see each other again and had a blast running around for hours.
Tanner and Peter had fun running around too, but had far more fun playing the video games set up around the room.
Then we headed to Wendy's for lunch and Pinkalicious cupcakes.
After lunch the kids grabbed the presents and tore them open.
Hattie got a doll from Avery, a Pinkalicious sticker book from Peter, and a Pinkalicious dress from Tanner (and mom). Hattie loved it, and Tanner was just as delighted because he had helped me sew it by handing me pins and pulling them out.

Then it was off to the Pinkalicious Play! We got there early and the kids got front row seats on the floor. The play was cute, and Hattie absolutely loved it. It was so cute watching her. She had the biggest smile ever the entire time, and every once in a while she would suddenly hug Avery just because she was so happy and excited.
Peter loved it too. He sat on my lap laughing and clapping the entire time. It was everything we had hoped it would be!
We sure had a fun day! Happy 4th Birthday to our Pink Princess!

Tanner's first lost tooth!

Tanner lost his first tooth on March 23rd! Hurray!
It was only wiggly for about 3 days before it popped out.
I had him call a tonne of people to make it extra special for him and he would say, "So, guess what? I lost a tooth, and let me just tell you how it happened. I was sitting here eating chocolate off a spoon, when I felt something hard, and I said 'what the heck'. I took it out and it was my tooth. So, that's how it happened."
He was sure proud of himself, especially after Larry and I told him we didn't loose our first tooth until grade 1.
The tooth fairy came that night and left him a little note, a Kinder Suprise egg (since that was way better than money to him) and four quarters (because that's what tooth fairies do, they bring money)
What a happy and proud boy he was!

"I'm Baby"

We love our Peter! He has the biggest, funnest personality!
He absolutely refuses to refer to himself as Peter, but rather, calls himself 'Baby'. That, and he LOVES when we say his name over the phone (Peter or Baby in this instance). He loves calling Nana because she plays the game so well. All she does is say his name and he laughs so hard, then pauses so he can hear her say it again. He loves to laugh and to get people to laugh at him, especially at the dinner table. That is his time to shine.
He does this funny thing where he will look at me or Larry out of the corner of his eyes, and it makes us laugh every time. Needless to say he does it over and over. His face expressions are always so animated.
Currently, he is obsessed with trains. Lucky for us we have tonnes from Tanner's obsession. He always has a train or two in his hand, and usually insists everyone around him does too. He also loves superheros. He calls them all 'Batman' and loves wearing a cape and Loves wearing the superhero t-shirts. Some days we have to pull them out of the dirty clothes because he won't wear anything else.
This little boy is such a character, and we all love him So Much!
