FHE Halloween costumes

This is us for Halloween FHE. Tanner is Mr Incredible, I made Hattie's Snow white costume, then Larry's prince to Snow white and my Snow White's evil stepmom costume from random material around the house. They turned out awesome! Peter's costume, well something had to give since I only started on Larry's the night before and mine the day of.
a Tinkerbell, two Snow whites, and a monkey (woops missing our cheerleader)

The spooky party vampires.

Granny, what can we say. Love that she is such a ball at our parties!

The pirate pair. Larry looked awesome with hair, a hat, and eye patch, but Hattie was so scared she bawled for 15 minutes straight with her head in my side heaving. When we had her look at him to explain who it was, she went into tremors she was so scared, so poor grandpa had to take his costume off.

a little puppy, who hated his hat, a nurse, Larry (ha ha) and a spider witch.

Thanks for dressing up so good everyone!!!

FHE Halloween style!

For the party aJustify Fullspect of the night we made individual monster pizzas (not such a good idea with so many people, but they were still good). Kids loved them.
Ha ha, love Carter in this photo. Super spooky
I did a little treasure hunt for the kids around the house and the final prize was this pumpkin pinnata. The kids had a blast hitting it with, yes, a bike buggy part.

Who doesn't love a good candy scramble. Then I scattered various colored skeleton pieces around the yard and teams had to collect their colors and piece their skeleton together.

Thanks for the fun night, food, and costumes everyone!

Who is who???

This is Peter and Tanner at 6 months. They look so different, and yet they look so similar. I can't put my finger on what it is.

Our 'Peeper'

I love this little boy! He is Always, Always smiling!
I also find that he is looking more and more like Tanner every day too. He continues to be such a dream child. He is sitting on his own now, which I love, and he loves to sit and watch his older siblings play. If I had to guess, I'd say his favorite things to do would be bathing with Tanner and Hattie and watching Tanner play with balloons (or pretty much anything Tanner does).
He is also super obsessed with paper - books, to-do-lists, newspaper, magazines, you name it. If it is in paper form, he wants to eat it. If there is a book in the room, he can't focus on anything else unless he gets ahold of it or it is removed from view. Crazy. Neither of my other kids cared for paper like Peter.

Ha ha, this is a typical shot from around 4-5 months. He would puke on my shoulder on the birp cloth and rub his face in it. I wouldn't know until I would put him down and see puke all over his face. Yuck! Lucky for me, he has stopped puking this past month (a full 6 months earlier than his other siblings).
And this is my baby boy enjoying his first taste of 'big people food'. It was a baby rice cracker, and he inhaled it and hasn't looked back. He loves food, and is a really good eater. Happy days cause it keeps his belly full at night, which means longer sleep spans. Ya hoo. Keep it going!

Pink and Pictures

There's nothing our family does better than dressing up. Hattie is always wanting to dress up as a princess, but she wants to do it her way, which never seems to be the right way. The other day, she came strutting out of her room (or rather shuffling in the large heel shoes) and asked me to take a picture of her like a princess. Ha ha, how could I resist with pink heels, pink jammies up top, a hot pink satiny blouse in the middle, and a pink silky blouse with her leg though the arm whole and a wicked wedgy. She went to the 'picture spot' in the basement and posed for me. Hot stuff!

She then returned moments later dressed in even more pink frills (including a hat for a necklace)for more pictures.
Not an hour later, she piled up every stuffed animal and dressup on the couch to watch a movie with her. Larry gets so frustrated putting her to bed because she has a million dolls and stuffed animals in her bed with her and she knows exactly how she wants them placed and which one she wants to sleep under the blanket with her. I can't help but endulge her because I was the exact same way. I was so worried one doll or animal would think I didn't love it by not having it in bed with me. Oh little girls.

Tanner-talk-alot

Larry often gives us 'Indian' names to describe our personalities, and Tanner's is:
Tanner-talk-alot
for no other reason than he talks more than anyone on this planet.
Two small examples from the past two days have been church related. The missionaries have been over quite a few times lately and Tanner talks their ears off! He says, "Hey missionaries, hey missionaries" until they say 'what' then he tells them something. Even before they can respond he's shouting, 'hey missionaries, hey missionaries' again. He says interesting enough things and asks decent questions most of the time, so we just let him be since he idolizes them. Also, today Larry took him with him to the church to set up chairs. He said Tanner didn't stop talking for two second and talked to every single person there about the chairs. Apparently he thought his dad was super cool and super strong, so he had to tell all the other men there. ha ha ha! Oh, that reminds me too... our bishopric came over a few weeks ago and when they walked in Tanner said, "Hey, what are you doing here, you live at the church?" ha ha, funny what kids notice and think. I sure love that boy even with all his talking (though all too often I have to make him play the game of trying to see if he can not talk for x number of minutes)
Not a dull or quiet moment with Tanner around!
